it has been stated many times there can be no reinbursement for anything.
if there was a scam they will take action against the scammer.
if there was a genuine computer glitch they can confirm you probably will not get anything back but at least it can be fixed.
why do the rich yell so loudly about what is peanuts to them anyway?

without screen shot proof or even the name of the one you traded with so they can look into this... your sol. kinda like trying to prove a suspect killed someone without any evidence what so ever.

270K? 111K? Not rich?
Well that's still a far jump ahead of my current 38K, which is the most I've ever had or even seen. And I know many others out there like me that have never seen a six digit figure in this game.
Not to mention that even what I've got is plenty enough for the items required to play successfully. Naturally I'm not even considering the difference between perfect and near-perfect stats to have any significance.

Blah, I've been at this game for 877 hours in the past 5 months and I've made around 700k , and I never went farming once , and I have almost everything unlocked.
How do you people burn plats so fast ???

If not by farming, I would be most interested in knowing where those finances come from. Wealth doesn't seem to accumalate that quickly for me, or many others I've talked with.
.. and that 38K is a shared pool between all 4 of my characters, granted only two of which are ascended.
Recently I've taken my Ranger outside of Augury solo using some traps and taken on some Rockshots, Minatours, and Griffons. I've only do so a few times, earned a skill point and between items and gold around 2K. Fastest 2K I've ever made, however I this would no doubt qualify as 'farming' as there was no other goal than the hunt itself. Apparently people can make 100K in a week's worth of doing this for 3 hours a day. New to the concept of solo, those runs took me about an hour; effecitively those claims would have them doing this at least twice as fast.
Oh well, it matters not. It was fun, and I'm no doubt going to try this in other areas, I like challenges. However as stated above by another, it can be annoying to have these multi platium-aires claiming to have 'lost' some and demanding it back. And back to that topic, the only solid proof would be in logs. "Screenies" don't mean much, I could fake a 'bad' trade screen with the help of a friend and my skill in Photoshop. Also if money is so easy to come by with or without the farm, why complain in the first place? Just go back out there and get it.

Yeah...I only have 38K in storage too. I have spent about 100K since I made this character. I never really farm tho...boring to me.
I am just a monk....a poor man of the cloth..."Alms...for the Dood?"

Bio - the problem is that, without screenshots (and even those can be doctored), I could e-mail/call up A-Net tommorrow and claim that I had a "glitch" that caused 900K to disappear from my account. They cannot simply deposit the money in your account based on your claim, EVEN IF you had screenshots.
Teklord/Old Dood - I'm not sure why you guys are having a hard time accumulating money. I am on my 2nd character and made sure that she started out with zero. After three weeks of playing her (I'm in Lions Arch right now - that's as far as I've gotten), I have already accumulated 22K. And that's roughly 1/3 of the game, if that, and I haven't even hit the areas where the valuable drops are (e.g. Desert and Southern Shiverpeaks).
No farming, no trading, no nothing. Just doing the quests and the missions.
Now, I DO try to do everything possible solo without henchmen, so that could be the difference in our wealth. I identify and sell everything to the merchant except armors, which I normal salvage and sell the materials to the materials trader. I also normal salvage "highly salvageable" items for that same reason.

Solo would make a huge difference. In fact that sounds fun, I'm thinking I should start a new character of some kind to play as much of the game solo or with as few players/henchmen as possible. I could probably do better to salvage more of the things I pick up as well. Either way, I'm definitely getting into the solo movement for a good challenge.

Send in a message with Screen shots to GW support. A guildie of mine lost all her gold and one time when she switched to international districts. They'll give you the money back. (She didn't even provide screenshots.)
